Natalie Daniels has been appointed to the board of Sport England on a three-year term.

Specialising in urban development and investment, Daniels is currently the Assistant Director of Housing at Greater London Authority (GLA), leading the implementation of the GLA’s affordable housing programmes.

Described as a “passionate influencer of change” in the built environment, both in terms of policy and practice, Daniels has worked in the UK, the USA, Africa and Asia delivering a variety of major programmes, and has won multiple awards for her work.

An experienced board member, she has had the privilege of serving charities working across housing, homelessness and international development.

Chris Boardman, Sport England chair, said: “Natalie brings a wealth of experience to our Board having dedicated her career to building sustainable and inclusive communities.

“She will play an important role as we continue to deliver on the ambitions set out in our Uniting the Movement strategy.

“Natalie has been involved in sport all her life and I know she shares our ambition that everyone in England should be able to enjoy the benefits of being physically active.”
